RP does well online because the online process hasn't become corrupted with money and power mongers like the voting booths have... yet! You have already seen one attempt this year at regulating the internet, there will be more, eventually they will succeed because of people like Ms. Heffernan who despise liberty and think everyone else needs to belong to the government for their own good.
