SOPA/PIPA may be dead for now but history shows that a future Congress' will just rename them and try to pass them again and again until the people grow tired of defending their rights or can be scared [imagine a world wide virus that destroys millions of computers] into giving them up. This is the way government works, this is why they should have as little power as necessary.
